Tracy and Bill [July 5th 2019 Zorvino Vineyards]

The beginning of July started out with two extremely hot days in a row. Luckily, we had the beautiful Zorvino Vineyards in Sandown, NH as the backdrop for Tracy and Bill’s wedding. I was really excited to be back at this venue. It really is such a gorgeous space.

Tracy and Bill had a day surrounded by family, love and so much laughter. Their vows to each other were heartfelt. You could really feel and see the love between those two all day long.  Once the party got started, there was no holding back. Their family and friends had a blast and the dance floor was never empty.  I was especially excited to hang out with some familiar faces ( Jessica and Brian). It really was the best day despite the heat.

Christine and Mike [married at the Aquarium]

When I first met with Christine to chat about her New England Aquarium Wedding she promised me bright colors, whimsy and a whole lot of fish. She did’t disappoint. (There was even an amazing shark cake!)   I go way back with Christine and a lot of the guests at this wedding so I knew it was going to be blast all around.  I also shot Christine’s sisters wedding ( Alex and Steve  <— check them out) in 2017.

Christine and Mike are this amazingly fun couple who are willing and ready to do anything for pictures. Unfortunately we didn’t manage to get Ryan Reynolds involved in any pictures. He was filming a movie right next to the hotel they got ready in. Oh well!  Christine looked so stunning in her gown and it was perfectly accented with a fishtail braid. So appropriate for the venue. Don’t worry Mike, you looked handsome and rocked those cat cufflinks.

One of my absolute favorite moments of the day was when we were taking portraits in Christopher Columbus Park and this little boy came over and presented Christine with a flower. I love those unplanned moments. We also got some time just with the bride and groom to walk around a bit before getting some portraits with the sea life. The penguins had their tuxedos on and the party got underway.

Thank you both for having me capture your day. It was so much fun! #toafinneganandbeyond

Megan and Matt May 4th 2019

I was so lucky to kick off my wedding season with Megan and Matt. This was a pretty special wedding for me considering the ceremony took place at my alma mater Merrimack College. Megan and Matt also attended Merrimack and that is how they met. I was happy it was incorporated their day.

Another fun element of the day was if you are a Star Wars nerd ( like myself) you will recognize that it was “May the 4th” otherwise known as “Star Wars Day”. Matt and his groomsmen made sure there was a subtle nod to this “holiday”. I couldn’t help myself but have a little fun with it at the end of the night too.

The reception was held at The Commons 1854 and it is a gorgeous space. I absolutely loved the color palette and the amazing floral arraignments. My good buddy C-Zone did not disappoint with the party. The dance floor was never empty.

We had such an amazing time and I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

Lesley and Kevin [married] December 1st 2018

My last wedding of the season ended two weeks ago with Lesley and Kevin. I go way back with Lesley. Pretty much since she was born. Lesley’s mother is my mom’s best friend and my godmother. And my mom is Lesley’s godmother. So needless to say I was really excited to hang out and photograph lots of people I knew. Also any chance to watch my parents have some fun on the dance floor is always a plus. ( I’m looking at you dad.)

They had such a beautiful December day.  Lesley looked absolutely gorgeous. I loved how she tied her whole look together with that awesome fur shawl. Perfect for a winter wedding. Can we talk about how beautiful the flowers were? Lesley’s aunt was in charge of all the floral arrangements.

Kevin couldn’t take his eyes off Lesley once she arrived at the ceremony. It was really sweet to see how they looked at each other all day.  The reception was held at The Cape Club of Sharon.  I had been to this venue many years ago but it was nice to return and see all the updates. It was a great spot to photograph. We had the last bits of daylight to work with but it worked out perfectly.

Thank you to Lesley and Kevin for having me document your day. It was such an honor to be able to do that for you.

Carolyn and Stephen [Harrington Farm Princeton, MA]

I was excited all year for Carolyn and Stephen’s wedding. I have known Carolyn for quite some time thanks to her sister Danielle being married to my cousin Greg. I knew going into the wedding how much fun we were all going to have. This group is such a fun bunch to be around.

All week the weather, once again, was looking really iffy.  I knew that there were plenty of beautiful spots inside at Harrington Farm but I was really hopping the rain  would hold off. For once, it did. We were able to take advantage of the beautiful grounds.  Carolyn and Steve decided to do a first look before the ceremony. It was so nice to have their family and close friends watching from the porch. We were able to do all of the pictures before the ceremony.

Once the ceremony concluded we took advantage of the last bit of light outside in the field.  Once inside, the reception was in full swing. I loved all the rustic decor that they had to highlight the venue.  Be on the look out for their dog Luna at the reception.  She was there in the form of a cardboard cutout.

Remember that rain I was talking about? Well it finally arrived in a downpour at night. However, I will never turn down a good rain shot.  I have to give major props to Carolyn and Steve for being such amazing sports standing out in the rain without an umbrella. One of my favorite pictures of the year happened at that moment.

Katelyn and Dave [Publick House Sturbridge, MA]

We couldn’t prevent a Nor’easter last month for Katelyn and David’s wedding. However, it didn’t stop us for grabbing those umbrellas and embracing what Mother Nature was throwing at us.  I can’t say enough about what good sports Katelyn and Dave were. I had them out in the elements and not once did they complain. The joy on Dave’s face when he saw Katelyn for the first time that morning was perfection. I love those moments. We were also so fortunate that the Publick House has so many great nooks to duck under around the property.  It was such a gorgeous New England venue

I went to high school with Dave so it was so great to reconnect and meet Katelyn in the months leading up the wedding.  They had a brunch wedding. Who can say no to brunch??  Especially Eggs Benedict!  The more brunch the better I say.  Katelyn and Dave, thank you so much for letting me capture your day. It was such a wonderful day.
