I knew Samantha and Ian’s wedding would be amazing. From the moment I heard it was at the House of Seven Gables in Salem I was pumped. I have never shot there but I absolutely love Salem. We were able to capture some awesome getting ready moments at the Hawthorne Hotel. There was a small mishap getting that dress on but resulted in some memorable photos.
Samantha and Ian had their first look at the Salem Commons and then the rest of the family and wedding party strolled a few blocks to harbor to get some great group shots. One of my favorite parts was watching the groomsmen not quite get the timing of their jump photo.. next time guys.
The ceremony took place on the “compass rose” at the House of Seven Gables. I think Samantha and Ians’ vows were so heartfelt and honest. They really tugged at the heart strings.
The reception got underway with an “Astronautchic” theme! I love love love twinkle lights and what they do to a space. So many epic dance battles took place under those twinkle lights.
